Pt 2: Jesus Is God

Jesus Is God Introduction John 10:22–33 22 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch. 24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. 25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me. 26 But ye believe not,…

KJV Only Pt 8: The Permanence Of Truth

  8. The Permanence of Truth Psalm 12:6–7  6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.  The final instalment of this first point in our Doctrinal Series as we dealt with the Holy Scriptures and its source. We have been talking for the last eight sermons on the King James Version of the Bible, and I am not sure…

Pt 7.5 Modern Versions are Another Gospel

Pt 7.5 Modern Versions are Another Gospel 2 Corinthians 11:1–4  1 Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. 2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he that…

KJV Only: Pt 7 The Permutation of Truth

Truth must first be doubted before it is denied, then denied before it is replaced, we are now living in a world when the replacement of truth is in full swing and the world will only get stranger without Christ Jesus.

KJV Only Pt 6 The Prohibition Of Truth

The prohibition of truth began in the Garden and extends to this very day. From the murder of the prophets, to the crucifixion of Christ, the feeding of Christians to the lions in Rome, to the Roman Catholic barbaric inquisition that lasted as long as three centuries in Europe. The horror stories of history, even to this very day, testify that TRUTH IS PROHIBITED and attended to often by the silencing of life from the testifiers of truth. There is no place for the Word of God in this world, other than to those who believe. Little wonder there is such passionate attack on the Bible.

The Proclamation of Truth

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”. Mrk 16:15. The one single commandment given to the church by the Lord was to preach the Gospel and to make disciples of men. Sadly much of todays church has been distracted from the first and delegated the second. In largely rejecting the plainness of the proclamation of the words of God, the church has moved toward all forms of social justice matters and determined that the training of pastors be undertaken by largely unacountable Bible colleges, for which nothing is directly spoken of in the scriptures. The result is the utter distortion of the word of God itself, attended to for the purpose of justifying the status quo.
The Preservation Of Truth

The Preservation Of Truth

We exalt the character of one who is ‘A man of his word’, but too many malign the character of God denying he promised to preserve his words. God is not a man that he should lie (Num 23:19), but this is exactly what people call him when they reject an authoritative volume of his words. But is there a motive behind this rejection? Is it the words they reject, or is it what the words say that offends them?

KJV ONLY: The Source Of Truth

THE SOURCE OF TRUTH Statement of Faith Series. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (REV 20:4) This is an interesting…

The Source of Assurance

The Source of Assurance Romans 15:4 This is the third of a four part mini-series on Romans 15:4, a passage that underlines our Church and tells of the focus with which we have to bring to all people the hope we enjoy. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. This morning has its focus on the SOURCE OF ASSURANCE, that is that it is the Scriptures Bring you…

Written For Our Learning

Written For Our Learning For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.  (Rom 15:4) When considering the first part of this verse last week we had seen the infinite value of “that which was written aforetime”, the Scriptures, the words of God. We take for granted that there is nothing that the Bible does not speak to, either directly or indirectly;  that it had an evident effect…
