Having the Bible online is a blessing to all who desire to know what it is that God said. We all need to read or listen to the Bible daily, not only to know God but also to not be deceived. Many are the teachings available today by a multitude of pastors and teachers, but how will you know what they are teaching is true? What can you check it against if you don’t know the source document yourself?
Don’t believe the lie that you cannot know what God said, don’t believe the lie that you need to go into the original languages to know what God said, God has never limited himself to one or two or even three languages, he is the one who created all the languages of the world! See Genesis 11:1-9
No! The Lord desires that all people know all he said and would believe him. He does not obscure his words, he does not make them vague or incomprehensible that only a small select group of people can know it with their “Special Insight”, no dear ones, he gave his word to YOU that you may know HIM and the way of life everlasting.
It was William Tyndale who rebuked the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Church with the words;
I defie the Pope and all his laws. If God spare my life, ere many years I will cause a boy that driveth the plough to know more of the Scripture, than thou doust.
Is that not the hope of the Lord for us all?
