The Beauty Of Holy Worship
There is a beauty in the holy worship of the Lord that goes perfectly astray with the contemporary Christian Music of the majority of today’s churches. The replacement of Holy Worship with rock music is the complete antithesis to that which the Lord has commanded.
The explicit purpose of contemporary music is to separate people from God, the guise of Christian Contemporary Music is a smokescreen.
Brother Phillip brings out the high view of God that we ought to retain. We tend to have a high view of ourselves and a low view of God, this must change if we are to realise the Beauty of Holy Worship.
The Changeless Christ
God does not change, he never changes, he is immutible, it is a theological term we employ to describe one aspect of Gods Character. Together with his character is his word and promises, being as perfect as he is, they too never change.
Growing In God
Grow in the Grace and Knowledge of God But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. 2 Peter 3:18 Introduction: As many of you may know from my testimony, my walk with the Lord hasn’t been as faithful as it is today. For long periods of time I wasn’t reading my bible and consequently I wasn’t growing. Yet in March 2014, when I…
I Will Call Them My People Which Were Not My People
“I Will Call Them My People Which Were Not My People” Romans 9:25, Paul the apostle quoting the book of Isaiah referring to the Israelites, the disobedient and gainsaying people, but also an allusion to you and I.
Unlike Israel, gentiles could never make the claim that we were ever Gods people. If we were brought not nigh by the blood of Christ, we too should have been ‘like unto Sodoma and made like unto Gomorrah’.
But we were brought nigh, we were not the people of God, but faith in Christ turned us about. So too will it be for Israel, a remnant indeed shall be saved.
The Riches Of His Glory
Perhaps it may seem unusual for the Bible to describe the manifestation of the riches of the Glory of God as that represented in his sovereignty as it does so wonderfully in Romans 9:14-24, yet that is exactly how Paul ascribes the manner in which The Lords Glory is known.
Child Of The Promise
God had made a unilateral promise to Israel for the land they are in today. His promise was made evident in his word and through this incredible people, his promise is sure and we have all the evidence we need to know he keeps his promises.
Israel are the ‘Children of the promise’, each person who has believed on the Lord Jesus Christ is a ‘Child of the promise’, his promises to us are also sure.
Great Heaviness For The Lost
Paul speaks to his deep and great heaviness and continual sorrow for his brethren, the nation of Israel. He goes further than perhaps any other person respecting his desire for them, willing even to be “accursed from Christ” for his brethren.
It is in this that we might wonder about our own burden for the lost. Do we sorrow for the state of family members? Are we concerned about the eternal reality of hell and that which will claim their end? Paul was willing to be damned for their sake, what are we willing to endure?
It Is Finished, Nothing Shall Sperarate Us
It Is finished Pr Edi Giudetti 13-09-2019 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. (John 19:30) Romans 8: 28-39 Benevolent Purpose Confirmed Rom 8:28-30 28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among…
Hinderance To Heaven Removed
Hindrance To Heaven Removed What Hinders You? Acts 8:26-40 Pr Edi Giudetti 23/04/2017 Introduction To set the scene of this incredible event we need to consider the context. THE PASSAGE IN Chapter 8 is BETWEEN CHAPTERS 7 AND 9. It is AFTER CHRIST HAD died on the Cross and RISEN. The first Christian martyr by the name of Stephen had just been killed. The first persecution of Christians had begun in Jerusalem by the hand of a young man called Saul. All…
The Urgency Of Evangelism
What is more important than evangelism for those who know the truth of the doom of the lost? It is simply impossible to think of anything more vital than to warn the lost of the danger of their souls.
