Daniel 2:41-43 reflects an aspect of the fourth kingdom that is rarely spoken of, but one of the clearest signs of the times, it is that of global division.
In that passage Daniel says;
And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. 43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay
It is this lack of coalesce in the world that will become more and more evident as we near the end of this world as we know it. Increasingly we should be seeing more and more global division in all areas of the world.
This division will be seen between nations, contrary to the desire of the global agenda. Jesus spoke of wars and rumours of wars. The military build-up around the world does not give us comfort that the world is becoming more and more united, but contrarywise the world is becoming more and more divided. The preparation against Israel is also becoming evident, just as the Bible spoke of.
Divisions are seen between religion, but none will be more evident than the time the world is compelled to worship the image of the beast at the pain of death, yet some will choose to die than do so.
Global division will be increasingly witnessed with all aspects of society and we are witnessing many even today. Protests in the market of ideas when people are refused the right to speak. Protests and counter-protests between diverse factions in the culture. Spite rising between the sexes when radical, toxic feminists call for the abolition of men.
Finally, the global divisions we see in the world will be reflected at the heart of the civilisation, the family. Jesus spoke of a time when brother will deliver the brother to death, and the father the child (Mat 10:21).
Global division is a sing of the times, our question is are we living in the time of this sign?
