The Value Of The Work
How do we quanitfy the value of the work we are charged to do for the lost people of the world? It is near impossible to consider the concept of eternity.
Come Unto Me
The greatest joy of all is having the rest and comfort of Christ during times of fear and concern.
“Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” says the Lord.
Here we have a Place of Rest, an appointed people suited to the rest offered, and exchange of burden and a rest for the soul.
What a blessing the Bible is, and what hope we have.
Heirs Of God
Heirs OF God, the portion of Romans chapter eight is one that gives the greatest anticipation for the Glory of Heaven and everlasting life. How those who have trusted in Christ are adopted Children of the living infinite God of Heaven and how we share in the inheritance of Christ.
Incredible.
Why wait before you turn to the Lord? To what end is this temporary life and all its endeavours, when you can live with divine purpose and a calling that is absolute and an inheritance that can never fade away? Why would you go from the darkness of this temporary world and then into the darkness of eternal damnation, WHEN HOPE IS LAID BEFORE YOU?
To what end is madness such as that?
Only Jesus Christ offers the reward of everlasting life, ONLY HE has ever said and promised, “I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish” (John 10:28a)
Eternity Bridged
Can eternity be bridged by a conjunction? “THEREFORE being justified by faith we have peace with God” Rom 5:1. Never has a single word been so well placed as the conjunction that begins chapter 5 of Romans.
All that goes before this word so perfectly linked to all that we read after it.
Peace with God, it is that which God desires for all mankind. But only understanding and accepting the first four chapters of this wonderful book will again to it.
