The Coming Messiah
The Coming Messiah
There are periods during our calendar year when we consider both the coming and the death of Christ together with his resurrection. The Bible refers to the coming of Christ as “God manifest in the flesh” (1 Tim 3:16). It refers to his death as a substitutionary offering for our sin (Isaiah 53).
This series bases itself on the numerous accounts where God had spoken through the Old Testament the coming of the Just one, he that should come to take away the sin of the world.
A wonderful series where Christ was;
Foretold, Foreknown, Foreshadowed and Foreseen.
Our question then remains, with all that was written aforetime concerning the coming of Christ, and with all that was written concerning his death and resurrection by those who had seen and believed, how can we neglect so great a salvation?
This is the Good news, never has it been the bad news, he did not come the first time to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.
