Glory In The Lord
Glory In The Lord Introduction 1 Corinthians 1:21–31 The Worlds Way Is Not Gods Way 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. 22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: 23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of…
Pt 5: The Foolishness of Preaching
While many believe that it is in the wisdom of Man by which people may gain eternal life, God has ordained that it would be by the foolishness of preaching by which men shall be saved. It is the preaching of the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ that can save man.
Today however, both the serious preaching of the gospel itself is shunned and despised, modern renderings of the Bible itself confirm this trend. Nevertheless, all who are saved can be certain that their own wisdom will save none, therefore they ought to no nothing save “Jesus Christ and him crucified”.
Pt4: Perfectly Joined Together
Pt 4 Perfectly Joined Together Perfectly Joined Together Introduction 1 Co 1:10–16 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now…
PT 3: EXPECTED
“waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:” (1 Cor 1:7).
In order to deny the pre-tribulational rapture of the Church there are several areas of the Bible that must first be rejected; The evident Biblical Distinction between the Church and IsraelThe clear historical gap concerning the biblical prophecies of Messiah and Gods judgment which were not evident in the Old Testament but revealed in the New.
The imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ for his Church. Each one of the above doctrines must be denied by each and every pastor who rejects the Pre-Tribulational Rapture of the Church.
Therefore we begin with one question; When is the return of Jesus EXPECTED?

…nourished … children…rebelled Isaiah 1:1–9 1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. 2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. 3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not…
False Religion
It is inevitable that those who believe Salvation is only a part of a journey and thereby can be lost, will revert to the Law, salvation by ‘works’, a False Religion.
Salvation is being ‘saved’ from hell, to claim that salvation can be “lost” is a nonsense statement and betrays an ignorance as to what salvation actually means.
The Profitability of the Scriptures For the Perfecting Of The Saints
Again and again we see the scriptures teach that the Saints of the Lord are only perfected in their faith and person through the scriptures. Our reluctance to read that which God has provided for our benefit ensures we remain babies in our faith, and little better that when we were lost, though saved.
