Sermons on Eternity
Time Is Short
Nothing is of greater value than that which has infinity as its scope.
There simply is nothing of this world that comes close to comparing with eternity, and all the time we spend in this life has its conclusion that which is rewarded FOR eternity, and time is short.
We have no knowledge of when our time in the temporal is over; this year, next year, this day or tomorrow or the very next minute, TIME IS SHORT.
For this who belong to Christ, there is another imminent that we look for, and that is his return for his church, the bride of Christ. Life continues until, “in the twinkling of an eye” we are changed and caught up to be with the Lord.
Time is indeed short even for the judgement that is to come upon this world, like a “thief in the night”, when they shall say “peace and safety, then sudden destruction”.
Time is short.
Hope Camps Pt 2: ETERNITY
Emilio does a great job deliberating on the Biblical presentations of heaven and hell. Both are eternal in scope. While “the wages of sin is death”, we also learn that “the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23)
The Value Of The Work
How do we quanitfy the value of the work we are charged to do for the lost people of the world? It is near impossible to consider the concept of eternity.
Come Unto Me
The greatest joy of all is having the rest and comfort of Christ during times of fear and concern.
“Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” says the Lord.
Here we have a Place of Rest, an appointed people suited to the rest offered, and exchange of burden and a rest for the soul.
What a blessing the Bible is, and what hope we have.
LOOK UP
Look Up for the answers, Look Up when troubles come, Look Up for your needs and Look Up to know your redemption draws near.
Hope is garnered through the trials we endure, hope in the Lord NEVER leaves us ashamed.
For Such A Time As This
We are in a unique time in history with you as a unique person for history, with the most unique petition of history.
The book of Esther provides for us the Biblical precedent for the time yet before us as Christians, and I pray this message encourages you to live for the Lord no matter the cost, that you too will say with Esther, “If I perish, I perish”.
A Confirmation of Relationship
A Confirmation of Relationship Pr Edi Giudetti 18-08-2018 A Certainty of Life Everlasting 10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. How can we do justice…
2 Timothy Survey
2 Timothy Survey Pr Edi Giudetti 17-06-2018 Our 2 Timothy Survey identifies the foundational encouragement for the work of the Gospel for the salvation of the world. Paul encourages young Timothy as a soldier of Christ, to live and endure the hardness that will be required to live the Gospel. He warns of the state of the Church in the latter days and brings understanding of what it will take to live distinct from the world and that…
That Ye May Know
That Ye May Know Phillip McKenzie 08-04-2018 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever…
Why
WHY did jesus die? Pr Edi Giudetti The first question a child ever utters is framed in a single word, why? I wonder why that is? Clearly children from the youngest age understand there must be a reason for being told….no! From the earliest age we look for reason. Why is the sky blue? Why is the Sun yellow? Sometimes the questions become quite profound and personal. Why do I exist? Why am I the…
