Sermons on Romans (Page 8)
Great Heaviness For The Lost
Paul speaks to his deep and great heaviness and continual sorrow for his brethren, the nation of Israel. He goes further than perhaps any other person respecting his desire for them, willing even to be “accursed from Christ” for his brethren.
It is in this that we might wonder about our own burden for the lost. Do we sorrow for the state of family members? Are we concerned about the eternal reality of hell and that which will claim their end? Paul was willing to be damned for their sake, what are we willing to endure?
It Is Finished, Nothing Shall Sperarate Us
It Is finished Pr Edi Giudetti 13-09-2019 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. (John 19:30) Romans 8: 28-39 Benevolent Purpose Confirmed Rom 8:28-30 28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among…
All Things Work Together For Good
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God”
Certainly one of the most encouraging passages in all of scripture “to them that love God”. Near impossible to speak of any limitation to this encouragement, that there is purpose in all we endure, good purpose “to them that Love God”.
Waiting For The Adoption
It might surprise many that even creation itself has been affected by the fall of mankind and is awaiting the redemption of that purchased possession. We ourselves groan within ourselves, longing for the redemption of this body, so too creation.
Christ Made Me Free
Christ Made Me Free Pr Edi Giudetti 11-8-2019 The Spirit That Liberated There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. There Is Now No Condemnation
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus. You will be hard pressed to find a string of words anywhere that forms a statement more provocative or inspiring than the first 13 words of this verse. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, 13 Words that contain, within its context, both the greatest hope for some and the most severe warning for others. 1. Presently Atoned There is therefore now…
That Which I Do I Allow Not
Romans 7 is one of the most explanatorily encouraging passages in the Bible for those who are truly born again. That which I do I allow not, says it all.
Fruit Unto God
Those saved by God are to bring fruit unto God. No longer bringing forth fruit unto death, Romans 7 demonstrating the hightened awareness of sin.
For Ever Changed
Understanding that which occurs within our livers after we are born again is the fundamental lesson we learn from Romans 6. There is a change, it begins now and it will extend to all eternity. The change within a believer is real, the pysical birth provides the opportunity to come to God, the spiritual birth recieves him as the Saviour of a soul dead in sin.
Freed From Sin
What does it mean to be freed from sin? Does it mean that we are now free to sin? The passage in Romans 6 and from the first verse makes plain, not only the answer but most importantly the overall claim of the Gospel.
