Vaccinated Against Division

¹ I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, ² With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; ³ Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. ⁴ There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; ⁵ One Lord, one faith, one baptism, ⁶ One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Eph 4:1-6)

There is a wonder in the relationship many people share in with Christ, a wonder never found in the world, a wonder that is sustained in one place through whom the wonder of the many sharing one hope has a unity unmatched anywhere else. This wonder sees no division by language or culture, no division in sex or nationality, no division in personality or preference, this wonder is the only place where the many are one, it is found in all those who have been saved by the blood of Christ. 

It does not matter if you meet a Christian from China that cannot speak our language or a next-door neighbour; if you are born again you are one in Christ, for “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus” (Gal 3:28). This unity has no division even though denomination is prevalent within it. Those born again are brethren and, though opinion may see temporal separation, yet according to the apostle, this ought never to be the case, not if we are forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

The world has never been united in such a way as this, indeed, it cannot. The world is identified by division and all attempts to unify the world through notions of “unity in diversity” have long failed. Multiculturalism is an ‘utter failure’, so said Angela Merkel during a speech in Potsdam Germany in 2010, “And of course, the approach [to build] a multicultural [society] and to live side-by-side and to enjoy each other… has failed, utterly failed“

The failures of worldly unity is symbolised most evidently by the attempts of minorities to force ideological belief systems by decree. This is made manifest in two ways; one is the Cancel Culture of the day and the other is through the passing of legislation. 

Cancel Culture is the “modern form of ostracism in which someone is thrust out of social or professional circles” for holding a view or ideology contrary to that of those who have the power of censorship. Cancel Culture mostly plagues the voices of those who are of a class above the common folk in the eyes of the world, those who may be personalities on any media platform; the “canceled” are boycotted, shunned, censored or worse, ignored.

The decree legislating ideologically divisive views has seen laws cycle through countries around the world in ways that seem more than a little contrived, in fact, they seem so deliberately orchestrated that they themselves have given rise to numerous claims of conspiracy. Namely, a global effort to destabilize the world.

But whether that be the legalisation of abortion, or the institution of euthanasia, or the sanctification of homosexuality through changing the definition of marriage or altering the natural biological concept of male and female, or the BLM movement, or any number of the divergent trends that have taken the fashionable kaleidoscope of an ethical mosaic, nothing has created a more dramatic division than the promotion and indoctrination of a vaccine.

Nothing I have witnessed in the last few decades can come close to the baseless, deceptive propaganda campaign that has come across our states, our nation, and the world, than the mandating of a provisionally approved medical treatment for a novel viral infection. What is sweeping the world into delirium has been justifiably referred to as an initiation into The Covidian Cult by playwright, satirist, and political commentator C.J Hopkins^[1].

This “Cult” has claimed some of the greatest trophies of division I have ever witnessed in such a short period of time. It does not divide nations, no, it divides the people within the nations. It separates doctors from their duty of care to patients, it separates employees from employers, shoppers from shops, clientele from restaurants, but it does so much more. Views on this experimental non-vaccinating vaccination has divided friends, relatives, and even relationships. It is dividing Churches, and this division is made all the more incessant by biblically weak pastors who fail to see that creating an underclass of people is the exact opposite of the command “Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Eph 4:3).

This ‘Cult’ like behavior is identified with manifest clarity when its attempts to ratify its legitimacy is attended to by demonising any and all opposing or questioning voices. The primal kindergarten use of ‘name calling’ is the marked tool of trade; “Anti-vaxers”, “Conspiracy theorists”, “Anti-maskers” etc ad nauseum. It is a behavior driven largely by paranoia and again the complete opposite of the command to be “forbearing one another in love” (Eph 4:2). The Bible teaches to “test all things”, yet through the multiple layers of censorship the world over, this untested experimental medical treatment is not permitted to stand the test of scrutiny lest the “new clothes” of the hope of the free world be found to be parading naked. 

Now with ‘freedom’ identified as a concept subject to the point of a needle, society, families, relationships and even Churches divide on opposing sides of this non-existent track. The vaccine is not a vaccine, but a therapy. Those partaking are not protecting others from a virus but risking a- symptomatically exposing them. Long term safety testing is non-existent for this “safe” treatment. And last but not least, its inability to immunise anyone is betrayed by “booster shots”. Yet the world is divided, and the track seems apparent.

The world has NEVER been united at any time in history and any attempt to unite the world through the force of law, or of a gun, or the point of a needle fails as evidently as concepts of “unity in diversity” or that of “multi-culturalism”. The only true unity is found through the blood of Christ, only those who have believed the gospel and are saved from the consequence of sin are in biblical unity, only they are VACCINATED AGAINST DIVISION. Let us then “walk worthy of the vocation wherewith we are called”.
